Pre-Existing Bodywork & Damage
- Wraps, PPF, and tint require a smooth, stable surface for proper installation.
- Scratches, dents, peeling paint, rust, or other damage must be repaired before installation.
- If repairs are required, additional labor charges will apply.
- Wrapping over imperfections is possible, but results may not be seamless and durability cannot be guaranteed.
- Full wraps do not include door jambs unless otherwise agreed.
Paint Condition & Age
- Paint older than 15 years may cause premature wrap or PPF failure.
- No guarantees are made regarding longevity of materials applied over unstable paint.
- Customers assume responsibility for risks associated with aged paint. CSC Customs is not liable for premature wear caused by unstable paint.
Warranty & Limitations
- A 30-day complimentary warranty covers installation defects such as lifting or bubbling when care instructions are followed.
- A 180-day extended warranty may be available for qualifying services and products.
- Damage caused by neglect, failure to follow aftercare, accidents, misuse, environmental hazards, or third-party modifications is not covered.
- Manufacturer guidelines from brands such as 3M, XPEL, and SunTek may vary. CSC Customs follows published recommendations where applicable.
Additional Fees
- Wax removal: $65 detailing fee if wax or coatings are present before installation.
- Paint correction: Required for peeling, oxidized paint, or surface defects and not included in base pricing.
PPF Aftercare
- Wait 48-72 hours before washing, or up to 7 days depending on film and conditions.
- Hand wash or touchless wash only with pH-neutral soap and microfiber mitts.
- Avoid automatic brush washes, direct high-pressure spraying at edges, abrasive pads, and unsafe waxes.
- Minor swirls may self-heal with heat or warm water.
Vinyl Wrap Aftercare
- Allow 72 hours minimum before washing, or 5-7 days in cold or humid weather.
- Hand wash only with pH-neutral soap, microfiber mitts, and the two-bucket method.
- Avoid automatic washes, abrasive pads, high PSI pressure near edges, or paint waxes.
- Clean sap, bugs, droppings, or fuel spills immediately using warm soapy water and microfiber.
Tint Aftercare & Film Types
- Do not roll windows down for 3-5 days.
- Haziness or bubbles may take up to 2 weeks to clear.
- Use ammonia-free glass cleaner and microfiber only.
- Avoid sharp objects, stickers, suction cups, and ammonia-based cleaners.
- Film options may include carbon, hybrid, and IPFX/IR ceramic film depending on service availability.
Wrap & Film Removal
We recommend professional removal for wraps, PPF, or tint. DIY removal may damage paint, glass, or leave adhesive residue. CSC Customs is not liable for customer-performed removals.
Image Documentation & Quality Control
- Photos may be taken before and after service for quality assurance.
- Images may be used internally for dispute resolution or externally for portfolio or marketing unless declined by the customer in writing.
Right to Decline Service
We reserve the right to decline installation if a vehicle's condition does not meet professional standards or poses risk of failure, unless repair arrangements are made in advance.
